Ever since getting a Kindle last year I’ve noticed an annoying trend. Wherever I go, without fail, someone is going to poke my Kindle. And when I say “poke,” I really mean “jab a finger onto the screen while I’m in the middle of a sentence.” This is usually followed with something along the lines of “Kindle Kindle Kindle? Kindle Kindle!” (I don’t actually pay attention anymore) to which I respond with some sort of caveman-esque grunt. In the end we”re left with me attempting to find where I was on the page, and the poker quizzically looking at me for an uncomfortably long time.

I suppose what I’m saying is that if you see someone reading with a Kindle, a pda, a different e-book reader, or a book, please resist the urge to jab at them with your finger. If nothing else, at least wait for them to stop reading.

Oh yes, the comic. Obviously the schedule isn’t being upheld. So, starting this week, I’m moving to a new Thursday, Sunday schedule. Let’s see if I can actually keep to it.

I’ve recently discovered that nine hours of class in one day tends to cause massive nap attacks. Have you ever tried to mess around on your computer while asleep? It’s not pretty: Keys everywhere, random websites printed, router connected to my toaster, and I’m still looking for my mouse…
