Free Stuff!

Are you a college student? Do you like free stuff? Then head over to Microsoft DreamSpark where you can grab any or all of these:
- Visual Studio 2005/2008
- Windows Server 2003/2008
- XNA Game Studio
- Expression Studio 2
- SQL Server 2008
Personally, I’ve downloaded Visual Studio 2008 and Expression Studio 2. Do I ever actually use Visual Studio? Nope! Seems like it might be good for large projects or for programming in C#, but for my little programs I prefer something a bit lighter. Honestly, the only part of Expression Studio I seriously use is Expression Design, and only for this comic. It’s no Adobe Illustrator, but it gets the job done.
Also, check to see if your college/university sells software. How do you think I can afford Vista and still have money for tacos?
